I honestly don't know what came over me. Grandma was in the living room, watching TV… and I was standing there, in the bathroom, turning on the water in the shower – very quietly. It wasn't even planned. I just wanted to quickly freshen up, but the mere thought that she might knock at any moment made my heart pound so loudly I thought I could hear it through the door. I tried to be completely quiet. Every little noise made me jump. A step, a creak in the hallway, and I immediately held my breath. What if she suddenly comes in? What if she sees me like this? Without a towel, with a red face, wet to the skin – that would be so incredibly embarrassing. I caught myself smiling because the feeling, somewhere between fear and excitement, was somehow… tingling. I know that wasn't good. Maybe that's why it feels so real. I hurried, turned off the water, quickly grabbed the towel – but my heart was still racing when I opened the door again. I hope Grandma never notices what I secretly did in her shower.
